Cancellation Policy – Liverpurrs Cat Sitting

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as flexible as possible while ensuring our time is managed fairly.

1. Deposits

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required:
- For all new customers, and
- For all bookings taking place in December

Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

2. Client Cancellations

Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the first scheduled visit will not be charged (excluding any deposit already paid).
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first scheduled visit may be charged up to 50% of the booking fee.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the first scheduled visit may be charged 100% of the booking fee.

3. Christmas & Peak Period Cancellations

Bookings over the Christmas period (typically 20th December – 2nd January) are in very high demand and subject to stricter terms:

The 20% deposit remains non-refundable
Cancellations made within 7 days of the first scheduled visit may be charged 100% of the booking fee
Once within this 7-day window, the full booking is considered committed and reserved exclusively for you

4. Early Returns

If you return home earlier than planned, we may still charge for visits that were scheduled within 24 hours, as time has been reserved for your booking.

5. Changes to Bookings

We will always try to accommodate changes to dates or visit times, but this cannot be guaranteed, especially during busy periods.

6. Our Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel (e.g. illness or emergency), we will:

Provide as much notice as possible
Attempt to help arrange alternative care where possible
Issue a full refund for any cancelled visits
